Within 1.8 miles (3 kilometers) of our hotel, you’ll find a plethora of retail stores, boutiques, and restaurants at Choucounne Plaza, L’Esplanade, Le Belvedere, Promenade, and more. Our hotel is within walking distance of Place Boyer, a local park, and Place Saint Pierre, home to St. Peter's Square and Cathedral. Both areas are known to host events, fairs, and concerts that are free and open to the public. Vendors also sell fresh-cut flowers, art, food, and more.
Visitors also find plenty of things to do in Haiti, Port-au-Prince, and its surrounding areas at a number of attractions, including the Musée du Panthéon National Haïtien (MUPANAH) Haiti’s National Museum of History and Culture, National Museum of Art, Museum of Haitian Art, Barbancourt Rum Distillery, Marche de Fer (The Iron Market), and Plaine du Cul de Sac. Discover Haiti's Mountains
Go from tropical to cool when you visit Haiti's natural mountains; just be sure to bring a sweater! You can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and camping among Boutilier, Kenscoff, Fermathe, and Furcy. There's also a number of caves, basins, lagoons, and waterfalls for you to explore.
While visiting these areas, take some time to do some local shopping. You'll find shops and vendors selling organic produce, hot cocoa, teas, and local, mountain-grown coffees.
